Restaurants near Shaws Plaza Shopping Center

Brought another couple along last night and all four of us enjoyed dinner immensely. Shared three appetizers then ordered all different entrees. Splurged on three desserts. The deconstructed cannoli is a fabulous idea, beautiful presentation and just delicious. We ordered the chocolate cake too knowing we would send some home for them for later!

Wonderful dinner, wonderful night, we will be back in the near future

This was our second visit to Row 34 and definitely will not be our last. From the time we enter the restaurant we are greeted with a smile and helpful host/hostess that is determined to make sure our evening starts off well. Our server, Lily, was amazing! She offered advice on selections for drinks, raw bar, and dinner. She was spot on every time. The portions are size appropriate but we still had leftovers that were boxed separately and labeled with a date. Row 34 has become our must go to in Portsmouth.

Tea at the Silver Fountain Inn Tea Parlour is a delightful way to dine. The food is excellent, the staff is friendly, helpful and unobtrusive, and the atmosphere is gracious and elegant. The Tea Parlour is located in a lovingly restored Victorian home that now functions as a B&B. Table settings are appropriate to the period, and there is a touch of whimsy in the decor. This is a place where one can step back in time to a more elegant and formal period in history. Highly recommend, especially to those who love history, romantic novels and the elegance of an earlier era.

There were not enought wait staff to handle the amount of people. I know that since there was no one at the front desk, some folks turned and left...this was 19Feb24. Around 1pm .....
