Restaurants near Santa Maria Sopra Minerva

This restaurant had amazing food and drinks, the service was good, and the view of the courtyard was beautiful. However, one thing they don’t warn you about is how early they close. They say the kitchen closes at 9pm, but when we got there, they said we had to order right away since it actually closes at 8:15pm. They don’t warn you, but right at 9pm they basically ask you to leave. Usually restaurants give an hour after the kitchen closes for people to finish up, so we were really rushed to finish our food since the main course came out less than 15 minutes before they closed (which again, they did not warn us about beforehand). If you are going to go here, give yourself some time to see the gallery upstairs above the restaurant. It’s amazing.

We really enjoyed this charming restaurant next to Trevi fountain. As the type of Italian cuisine, I believe they are a modern Roman restaurant and have fresh pasta, tasty steak dishes, and nice atmosphere. I would highly recommend reservations before going since I have seen people being turned away if the restaurant becomes very busy. I would highly recommend the mussels and pasta...it's a worthwhile visit if you are finding yourself around Trevi fountain and wanting a nice place to eat.

Delicious. From the wine to the limoncello shot. Tony was fabulous. Attentive and a great server. I had the ravioli, and it met expectations. Fabulous! The brushetta was fabulous with tomatoes, and the limoncello shot was a perfect balance. Not rart or too sweet. Perfect. So pleased in our choice!
