Waiter was outstanding, timely and polite; gave us a great spot for our anniversary. Food was fresh, flavorful and delicious. You pay for what you get and it’s worth it. 10/10.

I decided to "take myself" to dinner tonight at Pasta Amore. The food is always excellent and the atmosphere is comfortable for one person or a large group.

My husband and I went to Talus Saturday night, since we hadn't been there for a long time. It's a 45 minute drive from where we live, so not a place we can just pop into easily. I was glad we made a reservation because it was very busy with kids dressed up for dinner for homecoming. However, we were seated right away at our table and Rachel, our server, was there within mere minutes to take our drink orders. As it turns out, some long time friends were then seated at a table next to us, so they joined our table instead. Rachel was an outstanding server, very friendly and helpful with menu suggestions. Everything we've eaten here has been very good and the prices are comparable with the rest of the Omaha metropolitan area. Even though they were busy the noise level wasn't too bad and we were able to visit with our friends easily without any shouting, which we appreciate. We started with the Talus Meatballs - which were extremely tender and flavorful. The sauce was not spicy, which I appreciate! I had the Whiskey Bacon Tenderloin, medium rare. The flavor was very good, although not as tender as I have had at other places, but the quality of meat varies so much these days that it really didn't impact my opinion of the food itself. It is served with potato and egg gratin and raspberry brussels and I could have just ate those without the meat they were so good. I would order this dish again for sure. My husband had the Argentinian Pork. Although he did like it, he didn't love it, so probably would not order it again. The Smoked Old Fashioned and Old Fashioned without the smoke were well balanced and smooth. Again, our server Rachel helped make this a very nice evening and it's always fun to run into old friends somewhere and catch up.

The food was superb! A delicious butternut squash with apple cider soup and bison ravioli. The menu is changed frequently so there is always something new to try!

Double Anniversary dinner. My husband and myself and our son and his wife weee celebrating. We had a fantastic meal, the restaurant was stunning. Our server Hannah did a fantastic job and was very pleasant and kind. Extremely attention without being noticed. The food was prepared exactly as ordered and we enjoyed it all Dessert was exceptional and we even saved a bit to bring home. Thanks for a great double date Anniversary Dinner.
