Restaurants near Rustic Retreat

I took my husband to the Chop House in Sevierville, TN for his birthday while on vacation. We both were really looking forward to it since we have always enjoyed the food served there. We arrived early and were greeted and seated without any hesitation. The restaurant was extremely busy for the middle of the day. We both enjoyed an adult beverage and my wine was excellent. The server was quite nice. We both ordered the filet. I ordered broccoli and a salad and my husband ordered a loaded potato and salad. The bread was deliciously hot! The salads were brought out first and extremely tasty. I had my first bite of filet and it was amazing! As I went to cut my second bite I found a bug on my plate. I called the server over and she immediately took the plate away and said she'd bring me out another. Once I have something like this I lose my appetite immediately. The manager came over and apologized profusely stating it was probably from the broccoli. Now that totally got me since all vegetables should be washed and cleaned before cooking. She also asked if I would like another plate. No thanks, and especially not after that comment. They did comp me my meal...oh good! My husband's steak was good, well almost, however, he ordered it medium rare, but right in the middle it was raw. Oh well, maybe next time at another Chop House. All of this might have been because they were so very busy. I probably will go to the Chop House right off the interstate on our next visit. We've been there before and had no problems.

What an awesome experience! The food was fantastic. Our server was awesome. And it was just a really cool experience overall. The manager even took the time to check on us several times. Highly recommend eating here!

Our experience was wonderful from beginning to end. The hostess was so gracious and helpful to our large group (11 of us), our server was amazing, and the food was top notch. We couldn’t have been happier. We definitely recommend this Joe’s!

We had a great dinner and our server although she seemed very new was very good and did a great job considering we were eight people four of which were children under the age of seven. The ambience was great and it was a good time had by all

The food was AMAZING! We had smashburgers, crispy chicken sandwich, and chips and queso. Then played games for 2 hours with the eat and play combo. Will definitely be going back.
