- RRachelVIPChicago / Illinois •7 reviews4.0Dined on Apr 2, 2025This one doesn't stand up to the Rosa Negra group standards. The food was ok, although I'm not sure it was worth its price (695 pesos for the seafood risotto and 790 pesos for the ragu pasta). What bothered me more was the service. We had two servers - it seemed like one of them was the leading server, and the other one was his assistant. I must say that we felt that the assistant was much more professional than the leading server. The leading server was unprofessional in several aspects throughout the evening, but the pick point was when I ordered a Gin and tonic (not a chip one - 370 pesos...). The drink arrived at the table with a small Rosemary branch. So far, so good... If you know anything about mixology, you know that you want to slightly broil the rosemary in order to heat up the natural oils of the plant and get more aroma and flavor. It seemed like our server had no idea why he was broiling the rosemary. It looked like he just thought it was a "cool show." He broiled the rosemary until it was completely burnt. At some point, I wanted to stop him, but I felt it would be too impolite. Long story short, I ended up with a 370 pesos drink that tasted and smelled like charcoal. Worse than that, I spent the entire drinking experience trying to extract burnt rosemary leaves from my drink. I will end with what I started with - this is not what I expect from the Rosa Negra group.More infoParole CancúnPrice: Very Expensive• Italian• Cancún•4.3
- RRichardCancun / Riviera Maya •13 reviews5.0Dined on Mar 23, 2025This restaurant is by far one of the best that we have experienced in the hotel zone. The food was amazing as was the service. Our waiter had the best attitude. The only thing I would like to mention is the guy playing the drums. Worst show ever! It was that bad, I felt embarrassed for him. Also it felt totally out of place for the kind of restaurant it is.More infoBombay CancúnPrice: Very Expensive• Southeast Asian• Cancún•3.9
