We are open for our full a la carte restaurant service from Monday to Saturday each week with tables from 18:00 until 20:30. We are closed for dinner on Sunday, but the bar is open. We offer lunches daily and our wonderful Sunday lunch has tables from 12:00 until 16:00. The Horse and Groom Inn aims to provide great food and drink in a quintessential, traditional 16th century country inn. Dining is relaxed and informal in a friendly atmosphere. It remains Armscote’s only pub and, saved and sensitively refurbished in 2013 by the family behind Baylis & Harding, it retains many distinctive character features. Beautiful exposed beams, flagstone floors and magnificent fireplaces give that rustic feel with clever and contemporary touches, lending this remarkable building a luxurious yet comfortable atmosphere, which can’t fail to charm. Sunday roast and breakfast both fantastic. Cooked to perfection, generous portions with heart and soul flavours. Great music and ambience. Service was slightly slow but only because it's a family run business in a relaxed atmosphere so take your time, enjoy the vibe and views. We are very fussy with our roast dinners and this was exceptional which is a rare find.
