Experience Buenos Aires’ Golden Age at Artango Bar and Steakhouse, where the rich cultural heritage of Argentina comes alive. Set amidst a tableau of Art Nouveau and Neo-classical architecture and décor are the exciting tastes, lively music and dancing of Argentina. An evening at Artango feels as if you’ve traveled to Buenos Aires, and guests have the opportunity to enjoy authentic imported Grass-Fed Argentinian steaks. Roman’s selection of 120 day wet-aged, grass-fed black angus beef cuts are grilled on an Argentinian parrilla at a slightly lower temperature and for a longer period of time – similar to the Patagonian method of barbecuing crafted by Buenos Aires-born celebrity chef, Francis Mallmann. Argentine cuts are lean, tender and full of flavor. Pair your meal with Prohibition-era cocktails and both classic and rare European and Argentine wines. Dining at Artango is a memorable journey to Argentina.

I attended the opening night of Khmai, the fine-dining Cambodian restaurant that relocated from their previous spot on Howard, to Sheridan Road by the Hampton Inn. I then stopped in for an appetizer at their casual spot next door, Kaun Khmai. Every single aspect of my meal tonight, from the genuinely compassionate hospitality of the staff, to the outstanding flavors and presentation of my dishes? Blew my mind, expanded my palate, and warmed my heart. Upon entering the restaurant, I was warmly greeted by the hostesses in Cambodian, and was led into a dining room that immediately felt regal. A beautiful mural of a dancer was painted on the main wall, creating a dramatic and enchanting energy for the room. Each table was adorned with gold plates and cutlery, building upon the established majestic nature of the environment. The restaurant was exceedingly helpful in attending to any possible dietary restrictions. Additionally, the servers knew the intricacies of each dish - providing historical and culinary information that was extremely helpful learning more about the cuisine.

We rarely get over to White Castle so this was a treat to have fresh sliders. We were 10 minutes early for our 8:30 pm reservation and so we only waited 5 minutes. Service was prompt and afterwards they were kind enough to take a picture for us.
