    Overall it was very good. The portions are a bit small for the price. My dish was tasty but was only warm, another person in the party was served cold food, two were served hot and were great.

    Dakotah Steakhouse never fails to provide an enjoyable dining experience. The food is always excellent, the service is always top-notch, and the sett is great as well. One of our favorite places in the Black Hills!

    We started with the crab cake. I wasn’t sure how the mango and jalapeño would be incorporated but when the dish arrived I immediately understood. The crab cake was amazing. Even the crab alone was tender and lemony. We each got the 8oz filet w a house salad for me and French onion soup for her. The salad was fresh and tasty but got a bit soggy w Italian, as most do. The French onion soup was fantastic. I’m pretty sure there was a 3ft cheese pull involved. Our steaks were cooked and seasoned to perfection and the mashed potatoes were delectable. The service was amazing. It was a little pricey but the atmosphere, service and food were fantastic. We will be back!
