My score is only reflective of the food and the noise level. Tonight’s minute chicken seemed a bit dry. I love this dish and I may be just overeating because I love it so much. Off night for the chef? Perhaps. Hopes to be done dining before the crowd arrives but alas not so. It’s loud. Hard for old folks to hear. 😊

Lake Elmo Inn is always a choice of ours for a special dinner. We celebrated both an Anniversary and Birthday and appreciated the free glass of champagne. Food was delicious and if you are a dessert lover, their desserts can't be beat. Highly recommend The Lake Elmo Inn.

Matchstick was a delightful and delicious experience. Our server was excellent. The Rissoto was very good. We both ordered the pork chop. The meat was flavorful. However, it was hidden in quite a lot of fat that was difficult to cut away. We both had the housemade ice cream. Very creamy and smooth. Loved it! Also the Moscow Mule.

The food is always good here,ambiance , and service is excellent as well. It is consistently good. The noise level is always high although it wasn’t as busy so today it was less. Most places are noisy not sure why!
