- KKimVIPAustin •17 reviews4.0Dined 2 days agoOf course, we received great service. Logan is amazing and very attentive and we did have a manager that came over and wished my mom Happy Birthday, which was one of the reasons for our visit, which was extremely sweet. Mom felt very honored about that. The drinks are always great. The food we ordered was very tasty, but our options for food become the problem. We used to LOVE the shrimp and grits - I am from New Orleans and that is something I am picky about, but it was delicious at Whiskey Cake. Now, it has been removed from the menu and I know from Logan that there are lots of complaints that it is gone. I don't understand why it is no longer an option when it seems like it was such a big favorite of SO MANY people. I agree that it is nice to change up the menu here and there to keep "regulars" like me interested in the food, but there have been so many changes and loss of food that we truly enjoyed, like the ribs and the original fried green tomatoes that are no longer available. I did used to like the "seasonal" deviled eggs that were an option, but they don't appear to be seasonal anymore. The current ones are good but it is nice to go with the seasons. A big favorite was the deviled eggs that had turkey and cranberry around Thanksgiving - YUM. I would go and eat there more often, but there just aren't enough choices anymore. Please bring back the shrimp and grits, ribs, and the old fried green tomatoes.More infoWhiskey Cake - Round RockPrice: Moderate• Farm-to-table• Round Rock•4.8

Our server made sure she felt special from start to finish including a candle dessert & handwritten card from the staff. Super cute and chic spot to celebrate any occasion.
