Indulge in fine wine and delicious French-American cuisine at A Taste of Coronado. Nestled in the Coronado Vineyards, this cozy restaurant features a casual but elegant interior complemented by windows that offer a scenic view of the vineyards. Le Cordon Bleu-trained Chef Zach Hoffman offers a varied menu that includes soup, pasta, fish, entrees and dessert treats — each made using organic ingredients sourced from local orchards. Menu highlights include the grilled duck and quail. The menu also features gluten-free and vegetarian dishes.In addition to its standard menu, A Taste of Coronado offers weekly specials.     Gorgeous setting. It’s such a unique place. We came when it was quiet- very early lunch, so we had great conversation with the restaurant staff. We really enjoyed our food. I had the chicken wrap which hit the spot. The darker rose was very good. We only had a short time to enjoy the property. Next time we will come for dinner and stay in one the domes. Highly recommend for a visit even just for a wine or beer.

    Nice little tasting room. We had a tasting plus a charcuterie tray. The tray was great, and we found a couple wines we liked. Will go back for the next release of wines!

    We enjoyed our wine tasting at Birds and Barrels. We found out that the owner is also from Iowa. The wine were fabulous and the owner was very knowledgable and answered our questions. Great location - loved the open air venue! What a view!
