This was our first time to The Daisy and we had a reservation for 3 of us. We were greeted immediately and taken to our table. Our one guest was already there with waters on the table. Our drink order was taken immediately while we perused the menu. I had their spicy pineapple margarita, which was very good. My husband had the hamburger with the harissa mayo dressing, my daughter had the fish entree and I had the spicy fried chicken sandwich. Everything was delicious and we cannot wait to go back again. Thank you for being on Remsen Street!

We are visiting in Albany as my husband has a surgery scheduled. We were overjoyed to find this restaurant which coincidentally was connected to the hotel where we were staying. Being unfamiliar with the area, we were unsure how it would go. My husband is a very picky eater, who cooks for our family at home and is rarely satisfied with a meal at a restaurant. However, he ordered the prime rib special since it was Wednesday night and he was blown away! He said it was the best prime rib he had ever eaten and that says a lot coming from him. In addition, the atmosphere was warm and colonial and our waiter was outstanding. We will definitely come here again if we’re in the area and we highly recommend it for others.

Love the pizza and manhattans! The plants make the whole restaurant feel so cozy, yet fresh! Highly recommend!
