Restaurants near Poppenesset Bird Sanctuary

An early dinner before a performance at a nearby theater, always great . Old school Italian food with great service, a well mixed drink and good pour on a glass of wine. We will be back!

Haven’t been here since it opened and glad that I made it back. The food was delicious. The baked oysters, wedge salad and steaks were all like Boston steak houses. The downfall of this place is that it tries to compete with high end steakhouses. The prices are pretty equivalent. Also, if they want be a high end restaurant they really should not allow baseball hats! Colin our waiter was great. Would go back again.

Delicious meal. It was a special for the day. Hope they will add it to the regular menu. Seafood minestrone, full of cod, shrimp, scallops, clams and mussels in a delicious broth with diced vegetables. One of the best meals I’ve had.

Great food and good service. My GF likes and specialty drink that has white cranberry in the recipe. The white cranberry Cosmo was on the menu but no white cranberry juice in stock. This was only slight issue of disappointment, otherwise all was very good. Thank you.

We were a party of 5 and were quickly greeted and sat at a beautiful table overlooking the water Our serving team was attentive and thoughtful. Meals came out exactly as we requested. Awesome night with friends , awesome night at Popponesset Inn!!!!
