This is one of our favorite restaurants. As always, the service was excellent even though it was very busy. I had the linguini with clams and my husband had the shrimp kabobs, both of which were done to perfection. We also enjoyed the Boom Boom shrimp and wedge salad. If you like great food and a wonderful atmosphere definitely go to Plumsteadville Inn!

We went with another couple and sat in the patio/dining area. It was beautiful. We had a view of the river, and they have a lovely fireplace which at this time, being summer, they had lit candles. We went on a Friday evening, and it was not full at all. We had a lovely server who let us lounge with our drinks for as long as we pleased before ordering appetizers and dinner. Wine selection is not huge, but they have very nice offerings. The food was absolutely delicious and with generous portions. My husband and I had the Flounder stuffed crab with rice pilaf. They accommodated my request to replace the pilaf with their forbidden black rice which was part of their scallop's dish. We each took half our dinner home. Our friends had the scallops and pheasant. The devoured their dinner. We started with the cheese board, charcuterie board and the Escargot Tart. All were generous portions and delicious. Highly recommend going for an elegant yet slightly casual evening out with friends or romantic dinner.

My wife and I recently dined at Ferry + Main, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The restaurant has a charming ambiance, with tasteful decor that creates a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The attention to detail in the design really sets the mood for a memorable meal. I ordered the salmon and macaroni and cheese, which turned out to be a fantastic choice. The salmon was cooked to perfection, with a tender and flaky texture that paired beautifully with the rich and creamy macaroni and cheese. Each bite was a delightful blend of flavors, making it a truly satisfying dish. To complement my meal, I enjoyed an old fashioned. The cocktail was expertly crafted, with just the right balance of sweetness and bitterness. It was the perfect accompaniment to my dinner, enhancing the overall dining experience. Our waitress, Mia, was exceptional. She was very pleasant and attentive, ensuring that all our needs were met. She was patient with our questions and provided excellent recommendations, making us feel well taken care of throughout the evening. My wife also thoroughly enjoyed her meal, and we both appreciated the warm and welcoming atmosphere of the restaurant. The combination of delicious food, excellent service, and beautiful decor made for an unforgettable dining experience. Overall, we highly recommend Ferry + Main for anyone looking for a great place to enjoy a meal.

Had reservations for 3 at 2:15. Our plans changed and we ended up at Terrain @1 1/2 early to see if the could get us in earlier. Success, and we only had to wait 10 minutes. Had a wonderful server, I believe her name was Davida. She was friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. We all loved our meals. Harvest bowl with egg and avocado, Beet & Barrata Salad and Whole Wheat Pasta dish with chicken. My second visit here, my friends first and we’ll all be back again!

We have lived 17 miles from The Black Bass Hotel and Restaurant for nearly 25 years, so shame on us for waiting so long to dine there! The staff are friendly and helpful, the food is fabulous, the room was full but not loud, and the view of the Delaware River is splendid. We highly recommend! We’ll be back.
