- KKiyamVIPNew York City •23 reviews4.0Dined on Mar 10, 2025We stayed at W Miami Beach and decided to try to available options at the hotel. The restaurant was empty when we entered. It felt like I bought the place out for the night. Our server was awesome. I looked at the menu on Open Table and decided I'd get the charcuterie board for starts. When I looked over the menu at the restaurant, it wasn't there. Our server asked the chef and they provided a very nice board. I also hoped for a beer I saw on the Open Table menu, La Fin Du Monde, that also was not available. Ok, I guess I'll have a Lagunita. On to the food, I ordered the slow-cooked short ribs. Slow-cooked short ribs have to be juicy and tender. Well, it was tender but tasted like chalk. They provided what I expected was a sauce for the short ribs. It seemed like straight soy sauce. I thought I needed a high blood pressure pill! Needless to say, I didn't eat the plate. The staff did notice my displeasure and took my plate off the bill. So, that was very nice of them. I'd go back ), but try something different. Thanks to our server again. I forget her name but she helped to salvage the night.More infoThe GrovePrice: Expensive• American• South Beach•4.5
