"This was without exception the best meal I've ever had. I live in Asheville, and we've got some pretty amazing dining options here, but being in the mountains, fresh seafood options are hard to come by. As a result, I was delighted to find out that Roe had a spot open for us on relatively short notice (for an experience of this caliber) during our recent trip on the way to the Oregon Coast. Every course was simply incredible, prepared and served without pretense, and paired with delicious and appropriate wine choices. While the entrance foyer and the personalized welcome card certainly make one feel special upon arrival, the atmosphere and ethos at Roe is refreshingly devoid of the faux formality and stuffiness that one might experience at other high-end restaurants. The chefs at Roe focus on finding quality ingredients and preparing it to exacting standards. Dining at Roe was an amazing experience and worth every penny!"See more
