Early in the evening, it's serene, but by the end, the volume of fellow diners picked up. For a quieter experience, consider booking earlier. Cantina Gia is more than a restaurant; it's a sanctuary. The food elevated the evening even further. We shared Arancini—crispy on the outside with a creamy center, showcasing skill and attention to detail. For mains, I had the Mushroom Mafaldine, a generous plate of perfectly al dente pasta in a vibrant arugula pesto. My friend’s Ricotta and Lemon Agnolotti struck a beautiful balance of richness and brightness, each bite a delight. As always, we had a perfect dining experience! Gezellig is our favourite restaurant in the city and it never disappoints. I have a dairy allergy and they are always great to accommodate! It’s easy and stress free (which isn’t the case at all restaurants). I highly recommend!

I enjoyed a work lunch here. I wasn’t seated in a very good spot despite lots of other options I would have enjoyed more. I should have said something. The design of the space is lovely. The menu is right up my alley - French bistro (with a Canadian twist - definitely not traditional recipes) but not too heavy. I’ll be back to try more.
