- SSteveSt. Louis •1 review4.0Dined on Jul 1, 2025Nice casual atmosphere. Friendly service, though seemed only one person available for both bar and tables. Food was fine—it was a Tuesday so limited menu. Lobster roll was delicious, Philly steak and cheese was good but a bit meager given the price of a sandwich. Chicken wings were tasty. But very nice to watch the Hudson roll by. We will be back for the ambience and unique location.More infoRiver PavilionPrice: Expensive• American• Kingston•3.8
- SSteveVIPNew York City •6 reviews4.0Dined on Jun 30, 2025Have been to Terrapin many times and this was up to the usual quality. My daughter and I didn't go the entree route...we did some tapas and appetizers. How was it? From the tapas menu we got the deviled eggs and the patatas brava. The tapas are not large...certainly not as large as you would get in Spain. One deviled egg (in two halves) and a small portion of potatoes, $6.50 each. Picking a nit, the potatoes are described as crispy and they were not...but my daughter loves the deviled eggs. From the appetizer menu we got the spinach and artichoke goat cheese dip. I got the chicken karaage. Those portions were healthy (should be at $19 for the dip and $22 for the chicken). Both were excellent, especially the dip. Both would be good for sharing. Along with the warm bread (and nicely softened butter), we had more than enough food. I also had a Tanqueray and tonic (nicely sized). Service was impeccable and the room was not overcrowded (730pm reservation). It was a little warm, but with temps in the high 80's, probably should be expected.More infoTerrapin RestaurantPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Rhinebeck•4.3
