- AAlexDenver / Colorado •17 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoWent to Lelani's for our 27th anniversary dinner and were pleased as always. Ashley was our server and took great care of us, with a welcoming spirit and bubbly personality. My wife and I started with the crab cake, which were paired with pickled onions and a dill remoulade, then we split the parm crusted Monchong and added the coconut shrimp with a smoky, curry-like dipping sauce. Everything was delicious and cooked to perfection. The house treated us to a "Kimo's Hula Pie", which is their signature dessert, and which was rich, decadent, and very tasty. Definitely recommend Leilani's for great food, excellent service, as well as some outstanding views of the Pacific Ocean.More infoLeilani's on the Beach - KaanapaliPrice: Moderate• Hawaii Regional Cuisine• Lahaina•4.6

Then remembered Sean from Westin Concierge recommended MALA giving us a coupon for free Ube Bread. Made a quick reservation on Open Table and we were on our way. The experience didn’t disappoint! We had the just made Ube Bread which was hot, sweet, and delicious. Keeping to the theme I also ordered the Ube Drink being on a Tropical Island. The food was delicious and came out right on time. Our Server Kendall was awesome as she was very attentive. Even as a 7 year veteran server she was so enthusiastic with service and even gave us history of the restaurant and 100+ year old building. Letting us also know how the Surf affects their service when the Tides are really high. As frequent Visitors to Maui patronizing the Local Establishments are priorities to us as it gives us lifelong experiences as well as assisting the Community. #LahainaStrong!More infoMala Ocean TavernPrice: Moderate• Seafood• Lahaina•4.8
- AArthurvipDetroit / Eastern Michigan •105 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoDuke's has a great oceanfront location, delicious seafood, great ambiance and very good service. Beware: there is a very loud amplified singer with guitar from 5:30 to 8:00 every evening. If you like relaxed conversation at meal time, you will want to eat late, or be seated far from the singer. But obviously Duke's target audience eats it up! There's a good selection of wine and cocktails, including mocktails, and they are fairly priced by Maui standards. My wife had the sautéed mac nut crusted fish (monchong on this occasion), which comes with a lemon caper sauce, jasmine rice and broccolini. It's as tasty as the similar dish at Mama's Fish House, but at about half the price, and without the Mama's lobster sauce. I had the seafood risotto, which contains lobster, shrimp, scallop and fish (in this case, mahimahi and monchong). The risotto is the real thing, using Arborio rice. (A few restaurants try to get away with calling rice "risotto".) The dish had two unadvertised additions: kale (which if advertised I would have asked them to omit) and a bloody red tomato puree. The additions made the dish more colorful but did not enhance the taste IMHO. We unfortunately didn't have room for dessert, but they do serve a fabulous hula pie! Despite the small blemishes noted above, we highly recommend Duke's and will return again soon! Duke's is deservedly very popular -- we recommend booking well in advance. They accept bookings up to 90 days ahead.More infoDuke's Beach House MauiPrice: Moderate• Hawaii Regional Cuisine• Kaanapali•4.7

Nice live music! Beautiful Sunsets! Fun People watching place if you are at a table that is closest to the grass area…..Our server Katelyn was one of THE BEST servers we have had in the 25 years of eating at Hula Grill! I had the Chefs menu , smaller portions so I would have room for their famous Hula Pie! I let Katelyn pick my dinner for me as I couldn’t make up my mind and she made the right choice!! Then we find out she’s from our hometown with family connections to my husbands family! It’s a small world!More infoHula Grill - KaanapaliPrice: Expensive• Hawaii Regional Cuisine• Kaanapali•4.5
