"Lovely historic house, excellent food and service. The restaurant is divided into several rooms. both upstairs and down, so that you have a good chance of a quiet meal Because the house is old, restrooms are down some winding, uneven brick stairs, so be careful."See more

"First time there for lunch. Dinners here have always been great, but had not come back in a while. So, tried lunch this time and was surprised by so many original (as in creative, innovative) items. So, in my party, we tried the classic tomato pie and a couple of the new things. Everything was outstanding, and somehow I felt even better than the great dinners I have had here before. We had a couple of glasses of wine and they were the usual delicious. Service was wonderful, and we were allowed to take a testing sip of a couple of different wines so we could make a better decision as to what to have with our lunch.
