A hidden gem in Solva Harbour. Absolutely wonderful evening, from being greeted by Steve the owner on our arrival, to the friendly service, the delicious food and the excellent value for money. The range of specials was really impressive and the sea bass was a great example of that; perfectly cooked and well-presented. From the 'normal' menu I can also highly recommend the hummus starter, the seafood spaghetti and the chowder; all exceptional. We dined here on the last night of a holiday to mark a major birthday and I can honestly say that it was the perfect choice. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and, although I was looking forward to it, our evening actually surpassed my expectations. Thank you to Steve and the team

The service and food quality were exceptional. Also a bottle of wine was very reasonably priced, unlike most restaurants who inflate the cost. The views are very impressive and the ambiance and quality of furnishing's and fittings made for a very comfortable and lovely dining experience. Would highly recommend Milk Wood House.

Great food and atmosphere. The staff are very friendly and the decor is relaxing so a good time was had by all. Ideal for families and date nights too.

Having booked under the old 'regime', I didn't know what to expect. I was met with relaxed warmth, openness about teething problems (the changeover is ongoing) and always felt very at home - I stayed 2 nights as well as eating. The food was so good - the ribs and marmite potatoes (yes really) absolutely perfectly done, with good beer to choose from and just really good vibes all round. I look forward to returning next year to see how well Rwts are doing.
