The property of Sunglow Ranch totally deserves the five star ratings it gathers online. The site is huge, with beautifully designed adobe-style cottages. The appeal of this place increases ten times when its location is considered. It nestled on the Chiricahua Mountains, the reason why its able to offer unparallel views to all guests staying. When guests arrive after exhausting rides, they can enjoy various facilities and amenities inside sunglow ranch. There is no fast wifi internet, but that's the whole deal. During daytime, guests enjoy the amazing home-style cooked food in the ranch's dining room. Ride on horsebacks and go on hikes in the hills. During the night, they can look at the millions of stars gazing down at them from the Arizona sky.     Gorgeous setting. It’s such a unique place. We came when it was quiet- very early lunch, so we had great conversation with the restaurant staff. We really enjoyed our food. I had the chicken wrap which hit the spot. The darker rose was very good. We only had a short time to enjoy the property. Next time we will come for dinner and stay in one the domes. Highly recommend for a visit even just for a wine or beer.

    We drank and tasted wine. I'm not sure they offer food choices. Wine was good. Lots of sweet ones, if you like sweet. Their pear wine was awesome! This was smooth and crisp. Not sweet.

    Nice little tasting room. We had a tasting plus a charcuterie tray. The tray was great, and we found a couple wines we liked. Will go back for the next release of wines!

    We enjoyed our wine tasting at Birds and Barrels. We found out that the owner is also from Iowa. The wine were fabulous and the owner was very knowledgable and answered our questions. Great location - loved the open air venue! What a view!
