We’ve had the pleasure of booking Chef Ryu for all our special occasions, and he never disappoints! The food is always absolutely incredible, fresh, flavourful, and expertly prepared right before our eyes. But it’s the experience that truly sets him apart. Ryu has a way of turning dinner into a show, making it exciting, interactive, and full of laughter for the whole family. He’s especially wonderful with the kids, keeping them entertained while also making them feel part of the fun. Every time we book him, it’s a night to remember. Highly recommend for anyone looking to turn a meal into a celebration!

Spent Mother’s Day here today. What a lovely time we all had, aged between 18 and 80! The food was incredible, service was awesome. We are now happy regulars at Mr PPs. It’s been wonderful every time. Thank you for a lovely day ❤️

Service was friendly and efficient, and the food was amazing.

We tried their very fresh and tasty sashimi (amazing kingfish) and hand rolls (TOGO special is excellent, as is the chili spider crab) and edamame. There are plenty of cooked dishes as well, plus a well-rounded wine list, cocktail, and spirits list. We will go back several times I expect. The place was full on a Monday night which is a testament to providing quality food for a reasonable price (this isn't a budget restaurant though so we expected to pay for the quality). The service was attentive and the decor is modern and interesting, and feels like an authentic Japanese izakaya. It's a reasonably small restaurant so I recommend making a booking.
