The Story of Josephine’sThe story of Josephine’s begins during our executive chef Daniel LeBoon’s childhood. At eight years old, working for his father’s catering company, Daniel discovered a passion for food. This love — and undeniable talent — saw him intern at Philadelphia’s prestigious Le Bec-Fin. He went on to work in Paris at the venerable Hotel Vernet working under the renowned chef’s Alain Solvere and Alain Ducasse. In 2004, Daniel purchased Josephine’s in Marietta and developed an extremely loyal following based on the combination of great food, great atmosphere and great hospitality. Although Josephine’s closed in 2011, the name and the experiences are fondly remembered by countless people.

The food was delicious and presentation was great! Our server Olivia anticipated our needs before we could even ask ( like a fork or plate). We had plenty of time to digest in between appetizers/entrees and dessert. The table was perfect for the 3 of us. We all enjoyed our dinner and look forward to dining at The Belvedere Inn again.

The food was amazing. We shared the Focaccia and it was super fluffy with a nice crunch on the top. I got the salmon and my boyfriend got the short rib stroganoff. He wasn’t sure if he’d like it when he ordered it, but he devoured it. We will definitely be returning.

The Filet Mignon (the special the night we were there) was fabulous and cooked to perfection. It was served with french fries (really???) which were just average. The service was wonderful and the dessert was excellent also. We had cappuccino and expresso, and they make decaf versions of those also, if desired. We sat outside on a perfect evening, though the noise level was moderate since we were near the open doors to the restaurant itself and therefore near the bar. This restaurant is exceptional, but pricey. It's perfect for those special occasions and celebrations when you don't mind spending a bit extra for the highest quality in steaks and service.
