Our first time in this gem of a restaurant, and all I can say is, “WOW!”. The vibe is relaxed and casual with good tunes playing in the background. The service is outstanding. Our server was attentive, friendly, had good energy, was informative and helpful with descriptions of the menu options, and had recommendations when we asked for them. Now let’s talk about the food. Oh, the food…it is DELICIOUS! Pietramala is a foodie’s paradise. Do not let the relaxed vibe fool you. This food is elevated in the best way possible. Presentation on the plate along with the flavor explosion for your tastebuds come together for an exquisite dining experience. The small and thoughtful menu feels unpretentious but very deliberate. Oh yeah, and the chef may come over to your table and have a heartfelt conversation about ingredient choices and answer any questions you may have. (Thank you, Chef Jack!). Did I mention that it’s an open kitchen? You can watch the talented geniuses create their masterpieces. Go with a friend (or a few) and get the Focaccia, Then order at least 2 items from each category: “To Start”, “Mid Course”, “Main Course”, and “Dessert”. Taste and share as much as your tummy can handle. You will not regret a single bite. If your tastebuds are working, you will fall in love with everything about Pietramala.

If you are looking for a fun, lit, brunch spot in Philly this is the place to go! It was a group of 4 of us and we had the best time. The service by Alysse (Sorry if I misspelled her name) was 10/10. She was on point! From her recommendations, to service, and overall attention, she never missed a beat! DJ was GREAT and kept the crowd going the whole time we were there. The food was also very good which is rare to come across when a place already checks off all the other factors I mentioned.

Comfortably fit our party of 7, food came out quickly, and drinks stayed coming! Plus, our dad forgot the bday cake and the staff was kind enough to bring a brownie and a candle for my mom. Thanks!!!
