    Delicious food. Felt like we were eating at someone’s home. The night we were there the power had gone out and they were running on a generator - we had no idea until the end. True hospitality and non-pretentious. We were served by the owner who informed us the chef was 80 years old and used to work at Taj Mahal Palace Hotel (luxury hotel in Mumbai). A quick look out the back confirmed this. I’d believe it, legit as it gets. Standout dish was the fried paneer with curry leaf - seriously good. The pickled vegetable condiment was also exceptionally balanced, I’ve had some rogue versions of this before. For two of us we ordered paneer, chicken, curry, rice, naan and condiments with 3 beers (recommend trying the King Fisher Indian Lager, matched well with the spices) and walked out for under $75 a head. Worth visiting if you’re keen to try some authentic Indian cuisine that tastes like someone who’s been mastering this for 60+ years made it. Glad we discovered it and that we can now call ourselves locals. Also appreciated the illuminated water feature at the front. Classic.
