Restaurants near Old Man House State Park

My steak ( Butchers Cut) was out of this world. Hubby's shrimp and crab was tasty. The bread was hot and flavorful. The scalloped potatoes could have been more flavorful but it was a minor thing. The service was leisurely and the server friendly. We treated ourself to chocolate cake and ice cream for dessert. It was amazing. While spendy, it's a lovely meal in a peaceful setting.

Absolutely love this place. The atmosphere is very relaxed, the food and drinks are superb, so is the view and so is service (for the most part). I almost always order from the special or seasonal menu, and this time was no exception. Winter salad, scallops, special drink and espresso. The ingredients are simple but masterfully prepared. Sometimes difficult to get a reservation, so worth planning ahead. Highly recommend.

My family had a perfect dining experience, and we left happy and satisfied. The service, food, atmosphere are unrivaled. The views, of course, are spectacular. I have eaten at Salty's many times over the years, but it just seems to get better with experience. What a gem of a restaurant!

The Thanksgiving dinner at The George was a nice experience. Attentive service, although the bar seemed to be slow at getting a cocktail to our table. Some inconsistency with portion sizes - a huge bowl of (delicious) brussels sprouts but just a tiny serving of gravy? Would have liked some stuffing. However everything was tasty.

Spectacular meal with incredible service. I was a bit disappointed by the dessert selection, but I'm a pastry chef with high standards and an Italian background. Very beautiful environment and the staff treated us well at every interaction. Will absolutely return here.
