Restaurants near Ohio House Motel

This was our first visit to Ema - River North, and we booked an outdoor table. My husband enjoyed his glass of Sauvignon Blanc, and I very much liked my (non-alcohol) Say Less cocktail. We ordered the spicy toothpick lamb (REALLY good!), the green falafel (delicious!) and the charred eggplant (nice smokey flavor, but lacked a little something). They were out of the cauliflower, which we hopefully will try next time. We found all that to be rather filling, but decided to order a lamb and beef kefta kebab as well; we were glad we did, since it was also very tasty. For dessert we had the double chocolate crisp. Highly recommended! The service was friendly and efficient. We will definitely be back.

Decided to come here for a tacos & margaritas night with a friend. Wanted to try downstairs as I didn’t know there was one, so glad we did! It was a lively Friday night so being downstairs where it was more intimate and you can hear the other person talking was perfect! The food was good and the service was amazing! Definitely coming back again.

On arrival we were given a table well outside the the dining area and in the complete dark. Not even a candle to see the menu. The hostess was quite rude when we asked for a different table telling us to go get our menus. Once seated elsewhere the drinks and food was Amazing although we could barely hear each other over the noise. Highly recommend the food but be careful where they seat you at night

Peruvian is one of my favorite cuisines and Tanta did not disappoint! We explored a variety of dishes - cebiche trio, tuna tartare causa, empanadas de tamal, chaufa aeropuerto, churrasco, and yuca fries. Every single item was delicious, fresh, and craveable. The timing of the plates was done well, allowing us to work our way through the dishes without feeling rushed or overwhelmed. The server was fantastic, friendly and available but not over solicitous.

We loved the restaurant, food and atmosphere. Totally recommended.
