We are available for Private Parties, Rehearsal Dinners, and Christmas Parties. The historical building that now houses Ristorante A CA MIA was built in 1872. The bakery is one of the oldest bakeries in continuous operation in the country. By the mid 1930s, the ice cream parlor had become the dining room and the business was operated as a restaurant as it is to this day. Our kitchen is under the direction of Chef Todor Videv. We had driven by many times over the years and admired the elegant historical architecture of this stately seaside mansion with its tall signature columns, which is located in the quieter area of north Cape May. We were delighted with our decision to dine here. We were able to park on the street, right in front of the inn as well as a beach access point. We enjoyed a brief walk to the beach before dinner. There were several outdoor areas to enjoy drinks outside before or after dinner. We had early reservations so headed inside and were seated right away. After waiting a few minutes for our wine to be chilled and opened, staff introduced the menu and several additional specials. From then on, the service was very knowledgeable and attentive. The lobster bisque first course was outstanding! Creamy and delicious, there were five large chunks of succulent lobster meat and accents of candied fennel that provided surprise bursts of flavor. For second courses, the sea bass en papillote was amazing … sooo moist and delicately seasoned, while the tuna and foie gras special was a surprisingly delicious combination … cooked to perfection with a more robust flavor profile. And, for desert, who can go wrong with a decadent chocolate trifecta of flourless chocolate cake, chocolate mousse, and chocolate ice cream??!!! We brought our own wine although there are local Cape May wines available for reasonable prices. There are plans to open a bar next year.

The food and atmosphere at Tish’s was superb. The appetizer we choose was mussels in curry sauce, which was a special. It was so good. I wanted more! I got the scallops risotto which was out of this world. One of the best meals I’ve had and my husband got the pork chop which was also fantastic. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Love eating here, tried the early bird special for a change and to save some $$. We all know prices for everything have gotten quite high. Plenty of options to choose from on the prefix menu. Husband and I shared. He got the SeaBass, and I tried the Sirloin which was perfectly cooked. I am a filet lady so to me the Sirloin took a little more chewing. Friends got the seafood cioppino which was excellent and loaded with big pieces of assorted seafood. Also, another SeaBass was ordered. Back to apps, three Burrata's and one garden salad all worth getting again. Desserts were the ice cream flavors of the evening and two Caramel Flans. We took advantage of the wine paring offers which worked out nice. We didn't need to take time to decide. Can't forget we started out with a nice bottle of bubbly. Wonderful evening with friends.

4 family members went for breakfast prior to going to the beach. Waitress was very good and made sure our coffee cups were always filled. All people in my party enjoyed their breakfast. Not a huge menu, but covers all the basic breakfast items. Would definitely return in the future.

We live in North Jersey and drive down to Cape May a few times during the summer. Sometimes we even stay for the week. We always come to Sea Salt for a great night out and a fabulous dinner. The staff is always wonderful and friendly and the menu never ever disappoints! Always worth the little over 2hr drive for us to spend the day and have a great dinner with family and friends.
