Similar to ATX Cocina owned by same group, overall we prefer Cocina but both offer a fantastic experience, elevated considerably if you can manage to get outdoor seating on the balcony which offers a beautiful view. Pros: excellent service and knowledgeable waitstaff, quality and freshness of food, gluten-free paradise Cons: cocktails and mocktails are not great, very small, and no coconut cream or coconut-based beverages. ATX Cocina has them beat on beverages. Some standouts from the menu: duck carnitas tetela is by far the best thing we tried at either restaurant. The crab tostadas were also outstanding and very fresh. Great dessert options which include gf churros! Surprisingly, we did not enjoy the clams and chorizo starter or the braised short ribs entree which was very dry, but the accompanying mole sauce and nachitos were delicious. This is a nice place to celebrate a special occasion, especially if you seek gluten-free fare, and if you like it you should definitely try their sister restaurant, ATX Cocina.

It was our son’s engagement night! He brought his new fiancee and surprised her with her out of town parents! Perry’s made it very special with a round table, rose petals on the table and a great dessert.

Outstanding service, our waiter was making sure everything was in order, the food manager approached us to ask how was everything, overall a great service. The only issue was with the server who brought our fondue to the table wasn’t able to lit up the candle and walked away saying that it was a little windy (we seated outside) problem was taken care of by our waiter. Food was tasteful, presentation was ok, portion sizes good.

Every time I dine at roaring fork, it’s fantastic. It’s consistently good food with amazing service. I had the salmon, which is my favorite dish. And then I brought the chicken home for my husband. 10/10 would recommend Plus, I love my server Dio. He’s the bee’s knees
