The setting is beautiful and tonight there was live music and it was really good. This place has all the makings for an exceptional dining experience, but the food is just mediocre. I’m always just a little disappointed with the food when I dine here. I’ve tried several things on the menu and haven’t found a dish yet that tastes as good as I expect it to.

Visited our daughter at WMU and enjoyed their brunch menu. All was delicious along with very attentive service. Being a Sunday mid-afternoon it was a quiet, calm family setting. Which I believe typically it’s a high energy tavern crowd.

Always great food, and great service. Highly recommend.

My husband and I had a great meal at Brick and Brine in celebration of our anniversary. I had checked the “anniversary” box when I made the reservation and every staff member we encountered that night recognized the occasion. There was a handwritten note on our menus signed by restaurant staff members and colorful rose petals were scattered on the table for a festive touch. We were seated in a cozy booth near the back of the restaurant. Our server was excellent! Both of us ended up ordering the scallop entree and it was delicious, with a unique blending of flavors and textures. The desserts were also very good and, for better or worse, very generous portions. Thank you, Brick and Brine, for a very pleasant and memorable experience.

Recently dined at Comensolis Italian Bistro and it was unforgettable! From the moment we walked in, the cozy ambiance and welcoming staff set the perfect tone for the evening. Started our meal with salads. Then we ordered the Cream Chicken Polenta and Chicken Marsala for our main courses. Both dishes were divine. The cream chicken and polenta was perfectly cooked, so tender, rich with flavor, it warmed my heart. The Marsala was indulgent and did not disappoint. Beautifully sautéed and smothered in a luscious Marsala wine sauce, complemented by earthy mushrooms! Every bite was a robust blend of flavors leaving us craving more. Great portion size gave us enough for lunch the next day. The service was attentive and friendly, further enhancing the overall experience. If you’re looking for authentic Italian cuisine that is delicious and comforting, I highly recommend Comensolis. I can’t wait to return to try the rest of their menu!!! 10/10 Highly Recommend!!!
