Had a very cosy, private evening meal with friends. Service was first class, never intrusive, always keen to please.

Just returned home from The white Horse me and my partner went there today to celebrate her 60th , The food was delicious, and fantastically presented good sized portions, the staff were amazing, we both loved it there and will be returning plus the little extra message and the Happy Birthday dessert was completely unexpected but was greatly appreciated thank you

This venue is always a delight. The setting of the mill, tucked between tributaries of the river, is idyllic, with lovely gardens dotted with secluded seating areas. As it was a day of blue skies and warm sun, we ate outside under an awning. Pure heaven. The service was relaxed and efficient, and the food - as ever - was delicious. My only complaint is that the roast cod I had with a sort of Orzo risotto was a little dry. This is our favourite place to eat out, ideal for treating friends we care about to lunch.

Really nice meal, kind and friendly service, and great value for money on the mid-week menu.

Went for my birthday meal, food was excellent came out hot, and delicious, had starter halloumi fries and mango chutney, flavours blended excellently and halloumi was cooked to perfection, then had the house burger, very juicy was only dissapointed that my bun was extremely soggy, but im happy nonetheless, the flavour was worth it, i then had the cheesecake of the day, marks for presentation, and the taste was even more gorgeous, fresh fruit aswell, my mum came with us and was able to turn her meal into keto friendly, and she still loved it, her steak was tender and cooked to perfection, tried a bit, when it came to drinks was very happy although wish our jack daniels and cokes were bigger, but the strength was perfect. And my partners onion rings were perfect, the setting itself was beautiful and accepting (as i am in a same sex relationship, sometimes rural pubs can be filled with rather ignorant people) but nobody batted an eyelid which was rather comforting, seating was also very accommodating and toilet facilities were spotless, definitely worth coming to visit (furry friends welcome too)
