Judith is a new American tavern pairing warm hospitality and the cooking of James Beard Nominated Chef Julia Sullivan (Henrietta Red in Nashville) located in the quiet area of Sewanee, TN near the University of the South. The name is an homage to Judith Ward Lineback, the first woman to matriculate into the University in 1969.As Sullivan’s first solo project, Judith will feature a seasonal menu of creative and approachable dishes including a selection of small, shareable plates perfect for the bar crowd. This restaurant is divine, with a most accommodating and friendly staff. The food is delicious, and the menu is varied to accommodate most cuisine preferences. The dining rooms are large enough to adequately space the tables so that you are not in someone els's conversation or vice versa. Sierra is just the best....her personality, her commitment to pleasing the customer, her knowledge of the menu choices, and her ability to listen to the patron and relay the message exactly to the Chef.
