"The food was wonderful, our waitress was fantastic but the guy (host who sat us and helped with souvenirs) was not friendly and very rude. He made you NOT want to buy anything. As for prices, it's on the pricey side. $25 3lb loaf of sausage bread is just ridiculous."See more
"Our first experience at The News Room was outstanding. The unique environment was fun, but the food and drinks were just as good. The cocktails were delicious and fairly strong. The appetizers were excellent (definitely try the Brie curds - far exceeded my expectations). All of the entrees were wonderful and prepared perfectly. The service was excellent as well. We had a waiter in training, and he was as good or better than the waitress training him. Gave excellent recommendations, knew the menu inside and out to answer questions, and had a sense of humor that just added to the great experience. This was our first visit to The News Room, but it certainly won’t be our last."See more
"One suggestion, the red beans and rice dish was not cooked completely. As a southerner, beans should be soft, but firm, beans were hard. Also, you may want to study how this dish is prepared in New Orleans, beans are in a bowl, a scup of rice on the center on top. Wings were great, and 99.9% of the time, I enjoy your food.
Respectfully and best regards."See more
"Excellent as always! One of the best steakhouses in the country consistently. There is one small dinger, however. They seem to have had a large jump in steak prices since Minneapolis hosted the Super Bowl and their prices have not come back down to earth. Great night if you can afford absolute top dollar prices."See more
