- ZZVirginia •7 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoAlways a winner, again and again. Try everything. But if you are not sure where to start, get the Brussel sprouts, mole enchiladas, nopales, brisket, any ceviche, and dig derp and order the Chapulines (look it up).More infoOyamelPrice: Moderate• Mexican• Penn Quarter•4.6
- PpipervipWashington, D.C. Area •51 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoWow!! what a wonderful spot with to-die-for dishes that are so yummy. We went for a pre-theater type quick meal and ended up ordering several small plates like wontons (simply the best I have ever eaten, and I'have been around for a long time), fried shrimp dumplings were delicious too. While quite crowded we were waited on promptly and the server was very attentive and helpful. The food came in plenty of time for us to get to our show. I will definitely come back when I can stay longer and sample more delicassies.More infoChina ChilcanoPrice: Expensive• Peruvian• Penn Quarter•4.6
- JjaniceWashington, D.C. Area •10 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoI selected Carmine’s Restaurant for my out-of-town guests for our pre-show dinner. I’ve eaten there many times over the years when I’ve attended productions at Shakespeare Theatre. The atmosphere is always lively, the food is always excellent and the service always superb. Tonight was no exception. My guests (there were six of us) were extremely pleased about the convenience of the location, the food and the excellent service. And I get the credit for making a brilliant choice.More infoCarmine's - Washington DCPrice: Moderate• Italian• Penn Quarter•4.4
- SSharonGreater Boston •14 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoIf you love tapas you can’t go wrong at Jaleo! There’s a huge range of hot, cold, meat, cheese, seafood, veggies, etc. The traditional shrimp & garlic is loaded with sweet (!) garlic slices, the octopus was grilled and tender, the gazpacho is silky (with crunchy “bread fingers”), the peas were delicious. We shared about 10 plates, and our waitress, Sylvia, was attentive but not hovering. It’s our 3rd visit and we’ve enjoyed every meal we’ve had. Last year we had the chef’s tasting dinner and it’s a “must-do” - at least once!More infoJaleo - DCPrice: Expensive• Spanish• Penn Quarter•4.7
- JJimBaltimore / Maryland •4 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoFood was excellent. I love the salmon, avocado mango dish, cappuccino was great and the server Bill was very attentive. This was a retirement luncheon that I had with my wife and daughter and my supervisor joined us. The experience was absolutely fantastic.More infoThe Capital Grille - Washington DCPrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Capitol Hill•4.8
