A favorite Southwest Virginia landmark, The Farmhouse Restaurant has served the New River Valley since 1963. The authentic farm house, originally part of the Ridinger Estate, was build in the 1800's. In the early 1970's, an old train caboose was added to provide a unique dining area. First time to dine at JOLO. It was everything I expected and more. Fantastic menu, the food was delicious and the portions were great. Excellent service. Maggie our server, was very helpful and made great suggestions for our first time dining. the wines as usual are great and the menu has suggested wine pairing for each entree. I will be back to dine here again.

We haven't been in a number of years due to the restaurant closing for covid and it being a couple hrs away. Needless to say, we're very glad it's open again and it's still one of our absolute favorite places.

Miranda was our wine tasting tour guide! She was A+ chef’s kiss wonderful. We had a fantastic time with her and met some great people during our tasting. We were outside on the lawn and it was just perfect. The views. The wines. The experience. All top notch. 10/10 will return again! We joined the Wine club as well and bought so many of the delicious wines we tried. Very organic experience and we hope to try the restaurant next visit.
