The staff were helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. We chose the three course menu for £14 and each course was excellent with large portions which we didn’t expect at that price. Food was absolutely superb in The Oak Room. Top quality ingredients cooked to perfection. The cod was so tender & full of flavour. The lamp rumb was perfectly cooked and delicious. Staff were attentive but not intrusive. The Oak Room had a very relaxed ambience with staff who all seemed to love what they doing. We will definitely be visiting again.
