We arrived at 12 noon for an anniversary lunch, the high chair we requested was already at the table. We purposefully picked a quiet time as we had a 7 month d with us. Denis provide excellent service and was very friendly with the baby. Service was quick and the food excellent. Love the fact the cuisine changes every month, this month it was Brazilian and we will definitely be back next month for Spanish......

Excellent choice of food available. Friendly, efficient and helpful service. I had a pasta dish for main course and it was delicious. Will definitely look to go back.

We booked a table for a friends birthday especially to listen to the Jazz trio. Unfortunately they are cancelled at the last minute. The staff were extremely apologetic. The environment was rather noisy when we first arrived however it quietened down as the evening progressed. Service was excellent and the food was very tasty. We had a great evening and will return - hopefully when the jazz trio return.

An imaginative, historically themed venue that's not your 'typical' Sunderland bar. We visited the day after Sunderland's triumphant return to the Premier League so everyone was feeling a bit partied out, but the bar staff were very professional and friendly - and the Sunday roast was delicious, even at 7pm!
