I stumbled upon this restaurant based on rave reviews and I have to say, it certainly lived up to expectations! We made a reservation for 10:30 AM on a Monday and when we arrived, our table was ready. Although we would've enjoyed sitting outdoors, the indoor seating was extremely comfortable and the ambience was nice. Our server was very attentive and brought everything out in a timely manner. We noticed we were missing an orange juice that we had ordered, and he quickly brought it out to us. The food itself was delicious. As a party of 4, we each ordered separate meals, each one being spectacular. It's clear that there is intention behind the creation of the menu, and this restaurant is certainly worth visiting - even if you're not a guest at the hotel. Overall, I'd say it met expectations, if not exceeded them. The next time we're in the DC area, I will definitely consider revisiting this venue!

This is a regular spot we really enjoy. The service is alway accommodating and dependable. While the food is always very good and after trying g the pizza for the first time, I don’t know why I would ever go anywhere else. The fresh pasta is delicious and the food always comes out fast and hot! Great service, great food, and great experiences.

I have been visiting this restaurant for over 30 years....and it still impresses. Jose was our server last night and he made the evening very special! He knew his menu and we enjoyed all his suggestions...make sure you have the chocolate salami to share with who you are dining with! The owner is so very sweet and she still greets you when you enter....we were early and she kindly accommodated us, in my favorite seating area which is the glassed in wedge...there is outdoor seating too! The pappardelle with duck sauce is as delicious as the sauce made in Vicenza, Italy...my partner had the lamb chops...a work of art...I love Ripasso and the bottle we shared was excellent...also, I had been to that vineyard so it was extra special...I love the ambiance, as the sun sets the room has a soft glow and all that glass is enchanting. So, once again, an excellent dinner, an excellent server, a special time.
