The Queen Anne Victorian at 210 Savannah Road in Lewes, DE has stood tall for over 100 years. Built in 1899, Captain W. “Diver” Johnston at the age of 52 collaborated with his business partner (William H. Virden) to build a beautiful new house for him and his wife, Isabella. Records indicate that he paid $400 for the entire lot, one of the most prominent sites in downtown Lewes.Over the next 100 years, the Victorian structure built in the style of Eastlake, an English architect, served as a home for many families, including longtime Lewes Mayor, Otis Smith.The team at Raas is proud to continue the story of the Queen Anne Victorian.     Our first time and it won't be the last!!! We had a great experience overall. Deb, our server, was excellent and efficient. The place was hopping for a Monday night and had a good vibe. The Damn Good Burger is now my GO TO burger!!! Juicy, perfect medium double patties, with all the toppings! Messy and great! Wild catfish sandwich and the lamb pita sandwich were also excellent! The oysters menu was extensive and the two we chose were DELICIOUS!!! The location is right in the center of town, so adds to the whole Lewes experience. It will definitely be our go to place!

    It was a terrific meal from the moment we sat down. Our waiter noticed that a window table had opened and offered to move us there. We started with a serving of traditional guacamole. The ingredients were fresh and tasty. Then we both tried two new menu items: carne asada and the cali burrito. Both were delicious. Really wonderful evening.
