Restaurants near Millenium Park

It really is a treat to have dinner in an environment in which you don’t have to shout in order to have a conversation with your dinner companion. Excellent food, outstanding service, a relaxed atmosphere and a fair price, all within steps of the Loop’s main attractions. The friend who dined with me drove in from the burbs, parked in the Millennium garage and emerged literally at Remington’s front door. Not sure what more one could ask.

Food was excellent (steak salad and scallop special). The owner stopped by our table, as he often does when I visit, and when finding we were celebrating our birthdays, he brought over complimentary split of champagne and also included a piece of delicious cheese cake with poached pear for dessert. The food and service are consistently excellent.

I just felt like going out to dinner and made a reservation that morning for 6pm that day. Great decision for the 3 of us - for my husband, adult son, who was visiting us, and me. Food was outstanding, as was the service (Nick was great!). We had the bruschetta de prosciutto, pear salad, ravioli (lobster & mascarpone), pappardelle, mixed greens and 1 "classic" tiramissu (very different from what we typically get elsewhere).

A true Chicago experience that is not to be missed. Plus, excellent food.. and lunch cheaper that a corner fast food joint. Go!

We love this restaurant and have been enjoying it, specially the bar area for a while. Food and beverages are always delicious and the service is great. Like to give a shout-out to Juan for exceptional service, always!
