Restaurants near Milano Metropoli

First time in Milan, for business, and managed to book with Maio for my last dinner. Asked for a table with a really nice view of the Duomo, and Maio delivered. Food was good overall, ordered the steak with potatoes as main dish, and cured ham as a starter. Accompanied this with a glass of sparkling wine and and Aperol spritz. Delightful. Staff was decent and very respectful.

The expected view was not there but the food was awesome especially the ceviche

We found this gem of a restaurant in an area with many worthy contenders. While casual in appearance, this restaurant has a most interesting menu with creative options (ie: parpadelle stuffed with potato and tarragon, with grana padano fondue, hazelnut pesto and sausage. ...and I didn't even know that you could stuff parpadelle!). This dish, along with all the other ones that we ordered, were as delicious as they were unique. Staff were warm and welcoming, with a special thanks to our waiter (Ricardo) who exemplified this family's commitment to excellence. This is an establishment worth searching for but, if you are in the immediate area, it certainly should not to be missed.

Wonderful from start to finish. So pleased that it was our first meal in Milan. The risotto and beef cheek were amazingly delicious.
