We are a family ran independent Italian restaurant specialising in rustic traditional Italian home-cooking.Owned and managed by Ferdinando Mercogliano and family, we have been at the heart of the Romiley community for over 38 years. Customer favourites include our fresh pasta and proper Neapolitan pizza, but you will also find a whole range of items on our menu including traditional Italian antipasti, grilled meats, seafood, risottos and more. Blacklock is a modern take of the Great British chophouse nestled in the corner of a Grade II listed textiles warehouse. We take the best meat in the country from the award-winning farmer and butcher Philip Warren in Cornwall. We cook chops simply over our charcoal grill with a little help from vintage Blacklock irons and serve it all up alongside cocktails from the trolley and wine on tap in our subterranean chop mecca.
