They have a fab. bar area and 3 dining rooms. Our DR was in the back. It has an elegant glass wall separating it from the kitchen. Our DR was quiet. The main ones were hopping and noisy. Food & service excellent with some unusual options (e. G. chicken fried lobster). I’d say you can’t miss with this Resto. In the Loop area.

My parents were visiting the city and we decided to dine here due to the view and their reputation as a staple Chicago steakhouse. The appetizers and the steak were great, the pasta was really good and the service was fantastic. We were able to bring our own wine bottle to celebrate as it wasn’t on the menu and it is a favorite of my dad’s from back home, highly recommend

We had a reservation for the Bar area last evening and just wow. We were unsure about the bar area versus dining at first. They have very comfy seats tables with a romantic setting. We were celebrating our ten year anniversary and everyone there made it so special. Our server, I believe her name was Darma, was incredible. Her knowledge, personality, attention to detail, and level of care was like nothing we have experienced. We’re still dreaming about the tuna skewers and tortelli pasta. We have already told so many friends about this restaurant. We will be back every time we visit Chicago. Thank you for making our anniversary so special!!

We try to dine at ABA at least once every couple months, and this Monday we had an especially good meal. Every dish seemed so fresh and flavorful. We had 2 cold appetizers, the truffled salmon and the tuna, and recommend both. The classic hummus served with super crispy, fresh veggies and great pita for dipping was just perfect. The final dish was the salmon kebab, which is served with delicious rice. It is a generous portion and enough for 2 to share. The chef got the grilling just right and the salmon came out rare in the center. We would like to cite the wonderful service we received, but in the space on the check where the server's name usually appears, the words South Bar P are written..... so we can't name him. A very nice meal, with delicious food and good service.
