Overall it was beautiful and the meat is exceptional.

Gen and the team delivered fresh and nutritious meals in breaking speed. It was a beautiful experience sitting under the umbrellas, gentle breeze and warm winter sun. Families from many generations were comfortable, children laughing, puppies socialising- everyone was welcome. All staff were smiling, happy to be there providing a wonderful experience. I loved the Robert Gordon ceramics on offer- even the salt pig I couldn’t get from a major retailer. I picked up some local handmade earrings in the farm shop, and was lucky to snag a bargain pair of quality pants at Her Herd, also on site. I grabbed some fresh produce from Fifth Acre and a chat with farmer Di. Elderflower Farm flower bouquets were carried by many. Even while I waited for a tow truck, Gen offered me a cuppa. It was the most enjoyable day. Thank you team 🩷

Food is always outstanding!! Delicious and authentic. Service is friendly and constant. One of my favorite places to eat out!

Always a pleasant experience at Valletta, great service, impeccable surroundings and delightful food

We unfortunately had to arrive later due to a unforeseen problem, we were greeted very warmly and thanked for our travel out and choosing the Criterion Hotel by the head staff member, this made us feel very special and the staff were so accommodating in keeping the kitchen open for us to order lunch, with food on the table in no time and very generous helpings. We had a fantastic meal , great service and helpful advice to see sites in the town. Highly recommended.
