The Sou'Wester Restaurant and Gift Shop began in 1967 as a small five table tearoom at the side of a house at its present location. It has been expanded over the last five decades to a 180-seat restaurant offering traditional Maritime and seafood dishes, and a two-level gift shop with one of the Maritimes largest selections of giftware. Our Band of Chefs are influenced by a wide variety of tastes and have travelled across the globe to gain inspiration. But outside of the kitchen, we find it hard to take ourselves seriously. We have an Elvis booth. For no particular reason. Folks, that really does say it all. We’re sports fanatics, music nuts and love a good joke.
