She provided excellent recommendations and ensured our needs were met throughout the meal. The service was prompt without feeling rushed, allowing us to enjoy our dining experience fully. The star of the show was undoubtedly the food. Riva specializes in Napoletana-style pizza prepared in a wood-fired oven, and it did not disappoint. The pizza crust was perfectly charred and chewy, with a delicious blend of toppings that complemented each other beautifully. The house-made pasta was equally impressive, cooked to al dente perfection and tossed in a flavorful sauce. To cap off our meal, we indulged in a sweet calzone for dessert. It was a delightful surprise, with a crispy exterior giving way to a warm, gooey filling that satisfied our sweet tooth without being overly heavy. We went here for a birthday dinner date night and had a wonderful time. The waiter was very accommodating and went above and beyond. The menu is fresh for Fishtown and the food was delicious. I had the lamb gnochetti and my husband had the octopus. Both dishes were a great portion size (ie not giant) and excellently cooked. The ambiance was soothing yet vibrant and the rest of the hotel was beautifully renovated. They had a wide cocktail, wine and beer selection. I would definitely recommend for a date night or after work drinks!

The food was amazing! Highly recommend getting the champagne bucket for brunch.
