The original Vickers Tavern has been completely renovated, and the White Dog Cafe has preserved the building's history while adding chic farmhouse aesthetics and dog-themed decor. The restaurant features seven distinct dining rooms, each with its own unique personality and design. In addition, there is an expansive outdoor patio with a gas fireplace and retractable cover. The open Barn room includes a large oval bar, a sitting area by an open fireplace, and doors leading to the outdoor potting shed. We had been wanting to try this restaurant for some time and it did not disappoint. Our server Dianna was pleasant and knowledgeable about the menu. We started with bourbon cocktails and pickled fried green tomatoes as a starter, both were delicious. The short ribs and salmon special recommend by our server were spot on. Looking forward to our next visit to try a bourbon flight.
