Restaurants near Marley Crossing Shopping Center

Don't be put off by the outside appearance of this restaurant being in a strip shopping center next to an insurance place and nail salon. The food and service here is wonderful. It's not cheap but it's worth it. Be sure to reserve your spot well ahead of time since it's a popular place. On another note, it's gotten increasingly difficult to post reviews on OpenTable. I clicked yes to the email asking me to submit a review and then had to check my phone for the verification code that I entered into the website. And then that generated a second verification code to my email that I had to click/enter. I get it that OpenTable wants to discourage/inhibit spurious reviews but the new procedures also discourage genuine reviews. I didn't bother with all of these steps for the last restaurant I tried to review and just dropped my attempt to give it a very positive review

Everyone in our party liked the food we ordered. We were welcomed warmly by the manager. The atmosphere was nice. It was a really slow night. However, that should have worked in our favor. We had a long wait for our food orders to arrive, and while warm, it wasn't hot. So, I conclude that the waitstaff wasn't attentive. It was also fairly cold in the dining room, so that didn't help, and we mentioned the temperature to the manager when he showed us to the table. We'll try it again, but hope the details begin to matter.

Had a lovely lunch with a visiting friend. Food was excellent and our server, Ernesto, was amazing. He was very friendly, polite and attentive.

This was our first visit. Service was incredible and very personable. All the food was well worth the trip. Highlights were the fried green tomatoes with the hot honey (appetizer) and the short rib sandwich (unexpectedly flavorable for a mostly seafood restaurant). The jumbo stuffed shrimp was also good. We’ll definitely be back.
