"A great place for paella, desserts and Spanish coffee. I loved that we felt like we were in a very local, family spot. We seemed to be the only tourist there on a Sunday evening. It felt warm, friendly, and just down home. The food and wine were excellent and the service from staff was attentive but not overbearing. Would definitely eat here again for a relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff and great food! If you speak French, English and/or Spanish, you will hear it here."See more
"The minute you walk into Lockhart, you notice tons of Potter references from the potions to the Azkaban "wanted" sign on the door and the references all about the room. It was smaller than I expected, but makes sense because it's a themed bar, not a regular watering hole. The waiter was a bit out-of-sorts when we arrived, but all-in-all super friendly and helpful and didn't spill anything, so we had a great time! Also, the drinks were surprisingly good for a themed bar (these types of places can be hit or miss).
A must for a Harry Potter fan/tourist visiting MTL."See more
"Food was good. I had the zarzuela. I was told it had sea food, I had one shrimp, no scalops and one tail of calamari ..a bit skimpy , but a nice piece of fish. Althought it wastasty I expected more.
The service was slow."See more
"We enjoyed a delicious meal at Fenêtre Sur Kaboul. The food was all excellent, and the servers were attentive and warm and graciously accommodated my desire to practice my bad French. We eat vegetarian, and our server was helpful and accommodating and ready to offer suggestions of dishes that could be made vegetarian on request. The restaurant is licensed only for BYOB, but was still able to provide an ice bucket for our wine - just one of the little service touches we appreciated. We'd be delighted to return next time we're in Montreal and recommend it highly!"See more
